Krymp's color converter turns one value into all of them: HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB, CMYK, OKLCH, LAB and the nearest Pantone. Channel bars show exactly how much red, ink or lightness the color contains, so the numbers actually make sense.
Built for designers and marketers who move between screen and print: WCAG contrast against white and black, a total-ink warning above 300%, a printable CMYK-safe alternative, a 50-900 tint scale and color harmonies. Export the whole sheet as PDF, Markdown or PNG — everything runs locally in your browser.
Private. Files are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Free, unlimited. No account, no watermark, no daily caps.
How it works
- 1Paste any color value. HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB, CMYK, OKLCH, LAB or a plain color name — the tool detects the format for you.
- 2Read the conversion. Every other format is calculated instantly, with channel bars that show how the color is built up.
- 3Check contrast and print. See WCAG contrast against white and black, total ink coverage and whether the color is printable in CMYK.
- 4Download the sheet. Export the full color sheet as PDF, Markdown or a shareable PNG card.
FAQ
- Can I convert HEX to CMYK?
- Yes. Paste a HEX code and you get CMYK percentages, plus a warning if the color falls outside the printable CMYK gamut.
- Which formats are supported?
- HEX, RGB, HSL, HSB/HSV, CMYK, OKLCH, CIE LAB, the nearest Pantone match and common CSS color names — in both directions.
- Is the CMYK conversion print accurate?
- It uses a standard conversion and flags total ink above 300%. For an exact match on a specific press, always confirm against the printer's ICC profile.
- Does my color data leave my device?
- No. All conversion, export and rendering happens in your browser.
- Can I download the result?
- Yes — PDF sheet, Markdown table or a 1200x630 PNG card, all generated locally.
- Is it free?
- Completely free, no account and no watermark.
