FAQ
- Is my audio uploaded to a server?
- No. Compression runs in WebAssembly inside your browser — the file never leaves your device.
- Which formats are supported?
- MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC as input. Output is MP3.
- How much smaller will my file be?
- A WAV file at 192 kbps is typically 80–90 % smaller than the original. MP3 at 128 kbps is usually 50–60 % smaller than WAV.
- Will there be quality loss?
- At 128 kbps and above the difference is inaudible for most listeners. For music masters use 192 kbps; for voice 64–96 kbps is usually fine.
- Is it free?
- Yes — no account, no watermark, no daily limit.
